We analyzed International Women’s Day related social media posts by brands on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram from 2013 through to 2018 using our Analyze and Discover platforms and distilled our findings in the infographic below.
Here are some of the key findings from analyzing the most engaging social media posts around Women’s Day:
Amongst the top 100 engaging Women’s Day posts by brands in 2018, 82 percent of the Instagram posts on that list contained images, leading to 2 times more interactions on Instagram compared with Facebook and a whopping 32 times more than Twitter.
In 2018, 35% of the posts published by brands celebrating women’s day was on Twitter.
About 13% of the posts by brands were promoted.
The Hospitality industry dominated the conversation around Women’s Day on social media with a massive 2020 posts published by them on just Facebook.
